G. S. Garcia (1864-1933) opened his first saddle shop in Santa Margarita, CA in 1882 and moved to Elko, NV in 1894. The business was moved by his sons, Les and Henry, to Salinas, CA in 1936 and the name changed to Garcia Saddlery. Most buckles probably came from the Salinas shop.
