Edward H. Bohlin

Bohlin '41 Catalog 1895-1980
Born in Sweden. Ran away at age 15 and came to America working aboard a four masted schooner. Opened first shop in Cody, WY. Moved to Hollywood and first sold goods to Tom Mix. His shop was known for excellent workmanship and detail. Became saddle and silver maker to many movie stars. The Los Angeles based Edward H. Bohlin Company operated under him from the 1920’s until his death in 1980. Has subsequently gone through a number of ownership changes.
